This working paper focuses on a quite fashionable concept since Barack Obama has been elected US president: the eCampaign. But the use of Internet as a mobilization tool during a campaign isn't a new phenomena, it only reached its full potential with this race to the White House.


Should EU deciders look closer at this American experiment and take stock for the European Parliament elections campaign? Could European candidates become more visible at European level by creating an online identity? Which are the rules and the limits of this type of campaign?
